Solitaire: Cards

Privacy Policy

Solitaire: Cards app, formerly Spider Solitaire NG. Last updated: October 21, 2026.

This policy explains how the Solitaire: Cards app (the "app"), published by AkwaDev, a brand of SEVNTEC SARL ("we"), handles information. The app is designed to collect as little as possible.

1. What reaches us

The app has no account, no sign-up and no email address, and we run no server. The only information that reaches us is described in section 4: crash reports and usage statistics, sent through Google Firebase under random identifiers, never your name or contact details.

2. What stays on your device

Your games in progress, statistics, streaks, themes and settings are saved on your device and shown in the app's widgets. The optional daily reminder is a notification scheduled on your device. If your device backs up its apps (iCloud, or Android backup to your Google account), this data is included and may be restored when you reinstall; otherwise it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google's SDK may process your device's advertising identifier, your IP address (used to estimate a general location), device and app information, and your interactions with ads.

  • In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form provided by Google (User Messaging Platform) asks for your choices before ads are personalized. You can change them at any time in the app's Settings, under Privacy, "Ad preferences".
  • On iOS, the advertising identifier is only available if you allow tracking when the system asks (App Tracking Transparency). You can change this at any time in the iPhone's Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
  • On Android, you can reset or delete the advertising identifier in your device settings.

If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized.

4. Crash reports and usage statistics (Google Firebase)

To fix bugs and improve the app, the app can send Google Firebase:

  • crash reports (Crashlytics): the technical trace of the crash, the device model and the system version;
  • usage statistics (Analytics): for example which game is started or won, whether Premium is bought, and a general location derived from a masked IP address.

These reports carry a random identifier specific to the app, not your name or contact details. On iOS they never include the advertising identifier or the vendor identifier. On Android, Firebase Analytics may also read the Android advertising identifier, which you can reset or delete in your device settings, and two of these events (first launch and a won game) also measure our Google Ads campaigns that promote the app.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, nothing is sent unless you allow "Store and/or access information on a device" in the consent form. Everywhere, nothing is sent before the consent step at first launch, and you can turn this off at any time in the app's Settings: "Diagnostics & analytics".

5. Purchases

The optional Premium purchase is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never receive your payment details.

6. Game Center and Google Play Games

If you use leaderboards and achievements, they are handled by Apple (Game Center) or Google (Google Play Games) under their own privacy policies.

7. Playing with others nearby

In multiplayer, the nickname you choose, the deal being raced and your progress in it are exchanged directly between nearby devices over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. They do not go through any server and are not kept after the game. On Android 12 and earlier, the system requires the location permission to find nearby devices; the app never reads your location.

8. Legal bases (GDPR)

  • Providing the app and keeping your games on your device: necessary to provide the service you asked for.
  • Personalized ads, and ad measurement that stores or reads information on your device: your consent.
  • Non-personalized ads: our legitimate interest in funding a free app, within the choices you made in the consent form.
  • Crash reports and usage statistics, including the measurement of our own advertising campaigns: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the "Diagnostics & analytics" setting.

9. Sharing

Data is processed by Google (advertising, crash reports, statistics, Google Play) and Apple (App Store, Game Center), for the purposes described. For advertising, Google may share data with the partners listed in the consent form, within your choices.

10. Retention

Game data stays on your device as long as the app is installed. Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days, usage statistics for at most 14 months. Advertising data is kept by Google according to its own policies.

11. Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.

12. Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA), you have rights of access, correction, erasure, objection and restriction. Since we cannot link these statistics to you, most of them are exercised in the app (the "Ad preferences" and "Diagnostics & analytics" settings), on your device (advertising identifier, uninstalling) or with Google and Apple. For any question: contact@akwa.dev. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

13. International transfers

Google and Apple may process data outside your country, with the safeguards described in their own policies.

14. Security

The app's network exchanges use standard encrypted connections (HTTPS).

15. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
